Diamond Club

ntroducing for the first time in Sri Lanka the Diamond Club benefits from Allianz Insurance, exclusively for American Express Cardmembers. Now Cardmembers over the age of 75 are entitled to free overseas Travel Insurance benefits provided the return air ticket has been charged to the American Express Credit Card. The above schedule of benefits will be applicable to the said Cardmembers excluding the following covers.

Broadway all the way

When a Cardmember purchases a ticket to Broadway Musicals at Broadway, New York City or London, Westend and if the event is cancelled; Allianz Insurance Lanka Limited will reimburse up to USD 100 of the ticket cost, provided the ticket is charged on SriLankan Airlines Platinum American Express® Card.
  
         
   
Golfer’s Hole-in-One

Allianz Insurance Lanka Ltd shall reimburse expenses incurred in celebration of achieving a hole-in-one by a Cardmember during a tournament played outside Sri Lanka, subject to a maximum limit of USD 300, provided that all expenses have been charged to the SriLankan Airlines Platinum American Express® Card. The Golf course must be recognized by the United States Golfer’s Association (USGA).
 
         
   
Grand Prix Checkered Flag

When a Cardmember purchases tickets to the Formula One/Grand Prix races and due to adverse weather, the race/event is cancelled; Allianz Insurance Lanka Limited will reimburse the Ticket up to USD 1,000 provided the tickets have been purchased using the SriLankan Airlines Platinum American Express® Card.
 
         
   
Tennis Winning Sets

When a Cardmember purchases tickets to any Semi-finals or Final Tennis Championship (Wimbledon/US Open/Australian Open/French Open) match and due to adverse weather conditions the events are cancelled; Allianz Insurance Lanka Limited will reimburse the ticket up to USD 750 provided the ticket has been purchased using the SriLankan Airlines Platinum American Express® Card.

When a Cardmember purchases tickets to any World Cup Semi Finals/Finals match for Rugby/Soccer/Cricket and due to adverse weather conditions the event is cancelled; Allianz Insurance Lanka Limited will reimburse the Ticket up to USD 500 provided the tickets have been purchased using the SriLankan Airlines Platinum American Express® Card.
  
         
   
Smooth Sailing

When a Cardmember purchases an entry ticket to go on one of the following Cruise line (Azamara Cruises/Carnival Cruises Lines/Celebrity Cruises/Crystal Cruises/Disney Cruise Line/Princess Cruises/Royal Caribbean/Silver Sea Cruises/Regent Seven Seas Cruises/Windstar Cruises/Star Cruises/Norwergian Cruise Line) to anywhere in the world excluding Sri Lanka and only due to adverse weather the Cruise is cancelled; Allianz Insurance Lanka Ltd will reimburse the ticket up to USD 200 provided the tickets have been purchased using the American Express Card.
  
  Gold Cardmembers can upgrade to Platinum Cardmember's benefits on payment of a non-refundable annual upgrade fee of US$ 35.
